What did we do in the Summer 2009? Summer 2009 was a bit quieter at Lollipops. Probably the credit crunch, Swine Flu, late holiday and the early booking cut off time. We will review the cut off time for 2010 as it may have been a bit too early this year. However the week we did have was fun packed as usual. We did a tribute to the wonderful MAMA MIA stage show and film. We put together, over two sessions, an abridged version of the show, and the kids interpretation, even if i do say so myself, was fantastic!. All the children involved worked really hard and had a lot of fun learning lyrics from the show, and of course the famous Dancing Queen routine as seen in the film. Thanks Kids!....Please check out the October Spooky Halloween dates above
Click on Images to enlarge What did we do in MAY? We went back to the 70's!!! Lots of fun was had learning new dance routines and dressing up in 1970's fashion, complete with glam rock glitter make up, flares and platform shoes! The children still cant believe we used to wear those clothes for real! and that the shoes were so big and high! The pictures below show some of the things we did. The Jacksons, Village People. Glam Rock Bands and Elton John & Kiki Dee.
