 Julie
started out in entertainment
at Holimarine in Cornwall as a blue
coat. Moving on she became entertainments manager at the Manchester
Hotel in Bournemouth. Whilst at the hotel she wrote and performed in
many Summer Shows and Pantomimes in the winter months. During her time
at the Manchester, it was to receive many awards for it’s entertainment
and became the premier entertainment venue in Bournemouth. Julie
developed her own cabaret act during her time here and it was with this
she was to move on.
Since, Julie has
traveled through Europe to entertain the military. She has performed in
the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Cuba , The Canaries and at home for
Butlins, Warners, Haven, Lakeside Country Club,
Theatres, Clubs and cabaret venues throughout the country. Most
recently Julie has not been touring so much, she has been based on the
South Coast concentrating on her passion in entertainment, once again
writing and performing in summer shows, including SHOWSTOPPERS,
a tribute show
to all the greatest West End Hits.
Julie has worked with
and supported a host of celebrities including, Joe Longthorne, Jim
Bowen, Roy Walker, Stan Boardman, Jimmy Jones, Ray Lewis from the
Drifters and many more besides.
In addition to her regular
cabaret spot Julie is versatile. Whether it be a Rock ‘n’ Roll show or
a 60’s night she can deliver hit after classic hit for you enjoyment.
Try to prevent your toes tapping to the sounds of Sandie Shaw and Dusty
Springfield, your hands clapping to hot party hits of Brenda Lee and
Connie Francis and fond memories of Alma Cogan or Patsy Cline.
Recollections of all these great female artistes are included in these
superb cabarets and coupled with a bubbly and personable character of
this charming female vocalist you have a winning formula.
To compliment her 50’s
& 60’s shows, Julie can also deliver a 40’s Vera Lynn tribute and war
time sing-a-long show or perhaps for Christmas you would like a festive
and sexy Mother Christmas to appear at your
venue featuring all the yuletide favourites.
Not your typical
vocalist, Julie has her own vivacious personality that immediately
captivates any audience.
She can work equally
well with backing, (carrying four piece band parts), or self-contained
with a 1.2k watt sound system with Cd’s or mini disc.
